- To be available via the CBU route
Kawasaki launched the 2019 version of its premium naked streetfighter, the Z900. Priced at Rs 7.68 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the motorcycle is available in three colour options including metallic moondust grey/ebony, pearl flat stardust white/metallic spark black and metallic flat spark black/metallic spark black.
The motorcycle has received minute style alterations which are only limited to graphics. It was first launched in early 2017 and boasts of aggressive streetfighter looks. The sharp nose fairing, chiselled fuel tank and extensions, along with the upswept tail, all make it properly muscular. The contrast coloured exposed frame makes it look all the more attractive.
It is powered by the same 948cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 123.3bhp of power and 98.6Nm of torque. The unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
To be available as a CBU (completely built unit) product in India, the 2019 Kawasaki Z900 competes against the Yamaha MT-09, Suzuki GSX-S750, Ducati Monster 797 and the Triumph Street Triple 765.
