- Spotted in Austria
- Cosmetic changes, TFT screen, carbon fibre parts
- To be launched at 2018 EICMA
The 2019 version of the KTM SuperDuke GT has been spotted testing again outside the manufacturer’s plant in Austria.
The new spy pictures reveal that the bike gets colour matched crash protectors and an engine sump guard. The test mule also sported a side pannier and luggage rack which KTM could be offering as optional accessory. For 2019, the SuperDuke GT also gets carbon fibre bits like the radiator shroud covers and tank protector panel. KTM is also expected to tweak the bike’s electronic package to keep the bike updated.
The previous spy images revealed that the bike sports cosmetic changes like the front-end which gets the Super Duke R styling. The front cowl is also new with wider tank extensions that get LED auxiliary lights. It also gets a bigger windscreen that now shield a TFT instrument cluster. Apart from these changes, the SuperDuke GT is expected to be the same mechanically. It is powered by a 1301cc V-Twin engine that produces 170bhp and 143Nm of torque.
We can expect the 2019 SuperDuke GT to officially be unveiled at the 2018 EICMA. Since KTM has no plans to introduce its big bike range in India, the 2019 SuperDuke GT is highly unlikely to make its way here.
