- Joaquim Rodrigues and Oriol Mena finished in second and third places

Held in dunes of Merzouga, the annual Merzouga Rally has complete day three of the five-day event. Participating in the rally, Hero MotoSports Team Rally riders Joaquim Rodrigues and Oriol Mena finished Stage 3 in second and third places respectively. While Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team riders Aravind KP completed the stage in P32. The team’s second rider Abdul Wahid Tanveer competing in the Enduro category completed the stage in the second position.
Stage 3 of the rally was the first day on the two-day marathon stages comprising of 230 km with the first phase (89 km) being rugged for the riders while the second phase (107 km) had complicated navigation challenges to pass through the complex labyrinth.
The stage come to a halt at the Marathon bivouac, where the riders have to attend to their machines by themselves without any help from their teams. Stage 4 of the rally will see riders covering 205 km and will be the second day of the marathon stages.
