- Priced at Rs 13.74 lakhs ex-showroom, New Delhi

- Remains mechanically the same
Suzuki Motorcycle India has now launched the 2019 edition of the Hayabusa in India. Available across all Suzuki Big Bike dealerships, the sports tourer has been priced Rs 13.74 lakhs ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The 2019 edition gets two new colour schemes -- Metallic Oort Grey and Glass Sparkle Black, both with updated graphics. Side reflectors have also been added to the front forks for better visibility.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains exactly the same. It is powered by a 1340cc four-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC mill that puts out 197bhp of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 155Nm of peak torque at 7,200 rpm. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Power output can be controlled via Suzuki Drive Mode Selector offering three engine control maps to choose from.
Tipping the scale at 266kgs, the bike features 43mm KYB inverted front forks and a link-type rear suspension. Braking is done by Brembo front calipers that hold onto 310mm twin discs and the rear Tokico caliper with a 260mm disc with dual-channel ABS as standard.
In India, the Hayabusa faces direct competition from Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-14R.
