- New Metallic Matte Titanium Silver colour scheme added
- Front foot pegs moved closer to the rider for easier reach
- Gets updated gear shift design and brake pedal design for better comfort and ergonomics
Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2019 edition of the Intruder cruiser in the country. The 2019 edition has been priced at Rs 1.08 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available at all authorised Suzuki Motorcycle outlets across the country.
While the motorcycle remains essentially the same, it does get a few improvements and a new colour scheme. Apart from the existing grey and black options, the motorcycle is now available with a new colour shade of Metallic Matte Titanium Silver. Besides that, the company has updated the design of the gear shift and brake pedal for better ergonomics and comfort. The front footpegs have been moved slightly closer to the rider for easier reach. The company is also offering an accessory bar while the backrest for the pillion is now provided as standard equipment.
The 2019 edition continues to borrow its design language from its elder sibling, Intruder M1800R. The Intruder shares its powertrain with the Gixxer – a 155cc single-cylinder motor with Suzuki’s SEP technology for low fuel consumption and superior acceleration. Transmission duties are handled by a five-speed gearbox.
The 2019 Intruder faces direct competition from the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 in the market.
