- Likely to be powered by 2500cc inline-three cylinder motor.
- Could be a base for other Rocket III models.
- Expected to arrive early next year.
The world rumbled awake a few days ago after the pictures of the 2019 Triumph Rocket III were leaked. Now, the details of the bike have been revealed.
The new Rocket III will be powered by a 2500cc, inline-three cylinder engine that will be capable of producing 180bhp and a mind-boggling 230Nm of torque. This engine will be a base for future models in the Rocket III family like a cruiser and bagger motorcycles. In comparison, the earlier bike's 2294cc motor was good for 146bhp and 221Nm of torque. To bring all that monstrous power to a stop, the 2019 Rocket III will use top-spec, Brembo M50 calipers on both ends.
Triumph is also likely to fill the electronic aids pot to the brim with cornerinig ABS, ride modes, cruise control and launch control. It would also get a full-colour TFT screen simialr to the 1200 Scrambler which is Bluetooth, GoPro and Google Maps enabled.
The 2019 Triumph Rocket III is expected to be globally unveiled sometime early next year. We can expect the power cruiser to make its way to India by the end of next year.
