Triumph recently updated its highest-selling modern classic motorcycle in the form of the 2019 Street Twin. Here are the details of the bike in pictures-
The 2019 bike continues with its well-accepted modern-classic styling.
Although, it now gets a redesigned seat, instrument cluster, wheels and side panels.
It also gets brushed aluminium brackets that hold on to the circular headlamp which still gets conventional lighting.
The tail lamp and turn indicators however, feature LED bulbs.
The 2019 Street Twin’s 900cc, parallel-twin engine produces 64bhp and 80Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox and slip-assist clutch.
Braking duties are now handled by Brembo calipers with twin 310mm discs up front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
A pair of KYB 41mm cartridge forks at the front and twin-shocks at the rear consist of the bike’s suspension hardware.
The Street Twin sports an LCD instrument unit with analogue speedometer. It also gets an ABS unit and two riding modes; Road and Rain as standard.
The bike is available in two ‘Inspiration Kits’ namely, Café Custom and Urban Ride.
While the Café Custom kit offers Vance and Hines exhaust, a cropped rear fender and a Fox rear suspension..
The Urban Ride kit offers a brown seat, black engine sump guard, a soft case pannier and a cropped rear fender.
Triumph is expected to launch the 2019 Street Twin in India by June next year.
