Ducati recently unveiled the 2020 Panigale V4 at the Ducati World Premiere in Italy. We bring you details of the motorcycle through this image gallery.
Ducati has given the Panigale V4 a major cosmetic update for the 2020 model. The Panigale V4 and V4 S, in particular, now sport the ‘aero package’ that was only available on the top-spec Panigale V4 R until now.
This includes a redesigned fairing with aggressively-styled ‘gills’ and winglets on each side of the fairing. The ‘aero package’ is claimed to add more stability and reduce front wheel ‘float’ at high speed. In numbers, that translates to 30kg downforce at 270kmph.
To complete its additional aerodynamic features, the Panigale V4 also comes with a new ‘racing windscreen’ Moreover, Ducati has also increased the centre of gravity of the bike by 5mm for better leverage while turning. The manufacturer has also retuned the Panigale’s suspension setup to make it stiffer.
In terms of electronic aids, the Panigale V4 gets the same equipment as the outgoing model. This includes cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, launch control, bi-directional quick shifter and engine brake control.
The Panigale V4 continues to be powered by a 1103cc V4, Desmosedici Stradale engine that churns out 208bhp and 124Nm of torque.
Ducati will introduce the 2020 Panigale V4 in international markets by end of this year. We can expect the motorcycle to make its way to India sometime in 2020 demanding a considerable premium over the current model.
