BMW recently launched the 2020 G 310 GS in India. The adventure-touring motorcycle gets new features, revised mechanicals and an incredible reduction in pricing. Here we list in detail the five highlights of the new G 310 GS.
Full-LED lighting
The 2020 BMW G310 GS now gets an all-LED headlamp as well as LED turn indicators that are different from the ones on the TVS Apache RR 310. This makes the the baby GS look a bit more muscular from the front.
New Colours
BMW has added an interesting new schemes to the G 310 GS’ palette. This Rallye paint scheme consists of a blue and silver colour with bright red trellis frame and graphics. You can also have the ‘40 Years Edition’ colour combination of black and yellow or the Polar White paint scheme.
Revised mechanicals
The 2020 G310 GS is powered by the BS6-compliant version of the 313cc engine. While this motor produces the same power and torque, it now benefits from an assist and slipper clutch that prevents the rear wheel from hopping under downshifts. New features
The motorcycle gets adjustable clutch and brake levers. It is also equipped with a ride-by-wire throttle but surprisingly doesn’t offer ride modes like its TVS counterpart.
Reduced pricing
Even with all the new features and colours, BMW Motorrad has priced the G310 GS at Rs 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing makes it around Rs 64,000 more affordable than the previous model.
