- BS6 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS available with EMI plans starting at Rs 4,500
- Pre-bookings and pre-approval of loans have commenced
- Final prices to be announced during the official launch
Ahead of the official launch of the 2020 BS6-compliant G 310 R and G 310 GS models, BMW Motorrad has announced that these bikes are available with EMI plans starting at Rs 4,500 per month. Pre-approval of the loans for the baby beemers have commenced at all BMW dealerships across India and through its official website.
The final prices of the 2020 G 310 R and G 310 GS BS6 models will be announced at the time of their launch, which is perhaps around the corner. Interestingly, we already know that the prices of the new models will be lesser than those of the outgoing BS4 models which were much more expensive than their rivals. Notably, the discontinued BS4 G 310 R and G 310 GS were pegged at Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.49 lakh (both are ex-showroom).
Despite the more affordable prices, these bikes will get plenty of updates, as indicated by their spy shots. Firstly, the styling will receive a minor makeover in the form of a redesigned headlamp unit and side panels along with red-coloured chassis and wheels. The decals could also be funkier than before. What’s more, the previous conventional bulbs have made way for an LED headlamp. Another obvious change will be in its 313cc single-cylinder motor which will be BS6-compliant now. This unit might register different power figures than the BS4’s 33bhp and 28Nm.
In the naked street bike category, the BMW G 310 R will compete against the KTM 390 Duke while the G 310 GS adventure tourer will lock horns with the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
