- 2020 BMW G 310 R BS6 spotted once again
- Gets LED headlamp and a redesigned fuel tank section
- Likely to be launched in India soon
After the 2020 BMW G 310 R BS6 was spied undergoing tests earlier this month, a fresh set of images of the bike have emerged once again. Besides giving us a clearer view of its updated front end, the new spy shots also suggest its official launch might be just around the corner.
The 2020 G 310 R gets a redesigned front end with a fancy-looking LED headlamp and DRL, as opposed to the conventional lighting in the previous model. The fuel tank section has also been overhauled which looks busier with additional panels between the tank and extensions. Moreover, the presence of golden upside down forks and red frame give it a more premium appeal.
Powering the 2020 G 310 R will be the same 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor but with certain changes to make it BS6 compliant. That might bring a marginal change to its power output from 33bhp and 28Nm of the outgoing model. Meanwhile, it is likely to remain unchanged in terms of cycle parts. The street bike uses inverted telescopic forks and a monoshock for absorbing undulations while anchors are dropped by a disc at both ends with dual channel ABS as standard.
BMW had pegged the BS4 G 310 R at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. In spite of the updates, the pricing is likely to be the same for the BS6 version since it is already expensive than its main rival, the KTM 390 Duke BS6.
