-2020 Ducati Panigale V4 gets aero package
-Updated electronics suite
-Could make its way to India in the first half of 2020
Ducati has taken the wraps off the 2020 Panigale V4 at its World Premiere.
The Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S have now become sharper thanks to the ‘aero package’ which was earlier only available on the top-spec Panigale V4R. The package includes a redesigned fairing with ‘gills’ and winglets on either side of the fairing. Ducati claims that it adds 30kg downforce at 270kmph which means that it not only provides stability but also reduces the tendency of the front wheel ‘float’ at high speeds. Moreover, the Panigale V4 also comes with a new ‘racing windscreen’.
The 2020 Panigale V4’s electronics package is the same as the outgoing model. It consists of Bosch cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, launch control, bi-directional quick shifter and engine brake control. However, Ducati has optimised the package for better control and performance. The Panigale V4 comes powered by a 1103cc V4, Desmosedici Stradale engine that churns out 208bhp and 124Nm of torque.
The 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 will be available in global markets in the next couple of months and is expected to reach India in the first half of 2020.
