Harley-Davidson continues to update its India website with the prices of the MY2020 motorcycles and the latest to join the list is the Low Rider S.
The 2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S is priced at Rs 14,69,000. In comparison, the standard 2020 Low Rider is available at Rs 13,75,000. The Low Rider and the Low Rider S belong to the company’s Softail range of products. Unlike the standard model, the Low Rider S features a blacked-out theme with very limited chrome bits. The black theme of the motorcycle is complemented by matte dark bronze alloy wheels. The Low Rider S is available in two colours – Vivid Black and Barracuda Silver.
Several styling elements distinguish the Low Rider S from the standard variant. The front fascia, for example, features a body-coloured cowl. The S version also gets motocross-style handlebar for an aggressive riding position. The standard model, in comparison, uses a rear-swept unit. The saddle on the premium variant of the Low Rider family comes with a rider-only setup.
Premium hardware on the Low Rider S includes inverted telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. The anchoring setup comprises twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the back. The standard bike, in comparison, features conventional telescopic forks and a single disc at the front. The company has also revised the geometry on the S version for more responsive handling. The Low Rider S features a 28-degree rake instead of 30-degree setup on the standard bike.
Mechanical specifications include a 1,868cc, V-twin Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine that produces 155Nm of maximum torque. You can read our first ride review of the Low Rider S here.
