- 2020 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L teased
- Shows bike’s headlamp design featuring LED lighting system
- Official unveiling on 23 September
Following the teaser video released by Honda on the upcoming 2020 Africa Twin, the manufacturer has now released yet another teaser video. This time it gives us a glimpse of the bike's headlamp design and lighting.
The teaser video reveals the updated design of the headlamp unit which now receives a single lens for the twin-pod cluster. The existing LED lighting setup on the current generation model has been updated with a new cluster design that features circular LED DRLs with separate low beam and high beam lamps. The teased bike also had a pair of auxiliary lamps mounted on the metal framework surrounding the fairing for added protection. The LED turn indicators seem to have been continued from the current Africa Twin.
Apart from the details unveiled in the teaser video, patent images of the 2020 Africa Twin were recently leaked providing details regarding the increased displacement and upgrades. The upcoming 2020 Africa Twin is likely to be offered in three variants to better suit the requirements of buyers. Besides that, the new Africa Twin will feature a larger 1084cc motor that will reportedly register a marginal increase in power output of 7bhp over the existing figure of 88bhp. Furthermore, Honda has given the upcoming adventure tourer a tasteful design facelift.
Because this is the second teaser revealed by Honda, the company will unveil the motorcycle on 23 September, much before the upcoming 2019 EICMA show in Milan.
