- 2020 PCX150 unveiled in Thailand
- Gets new colour schemes
- Unlikely to come to India anytime soon
Honda has unveiled the 2020 PCX150 in Thailand. As part of the model year update, the PCX150 has benefited with four new colour schemes that set it apart from the 2019 model.
There is a black paint option that gets a red highlight running from the fascia of the PCX through the apron and to the edge of the seat. It is also available in white colour with similar red highlights. For customers with funkier taste, Honda is offering the PCX 150 in red and grey colours that come with gold-finished alloy wheels.
In terms of design, the 2020 PCX150 continues with its futuristic max-scooter styling complete with LED lighting and sharp lines in its bodywork. It also retains features like the ‘Honda Smart Controller’ which is a blue-LED backlit knob that can lock the scooter, open the seat as well as fuel lid, and act as an ignition switch. The PCX150 also gets a Smart Key, a USB charging socket and a fully-digital instrument cluster. However, it now comes with a welcome light, just like the one found in modern-day cars.
The Honda PCX150 is powered by a 149cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 13.3bhp of power and 14Nm of torque that is mated to a CVT gearbox and final belt drive. While the 2020 model will soon reach other Southeast Asian markets, it is unlikely to be sold in India anytime soon as the manufacturer would not be able to price the PCX150 competitively.
