Kawasaki India has added a new colour scheme to its litre-class supersport offering, Ninja ZX-10R, featuring gold highlights. The new colour scheme is available at no additional cost as the motorcycle continues to retail at Rs 13.99 lakhs ex-showroom, India. Kawasaki sells the Ninja ZX-10R in the country via the CKD route.
The new colour scheme features gold highlights on the fairing, fuel tank and tail section. Besides that, the motorcycle remains cosmetically and mechanically the same. It is powered by a 998cc inline-four that produces 200.2bhp at 13,500rpm and 114.9Nm at 11,200rpm. The bike comes with fully-adjustable Showa suspension setup accompanied by Brembo brakes.
Kawasaki will commence deliveries of the new colour scheme Ninja ZX-10R in October 2019. In terms of competition, the ZX-10R locks horns with the Ducati Panigale V4, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Yamaha YZF R1, BMW S1000RR and the Aprilia RSV4 RR in its segment.
