- KTM 390 series now get MRF tyres
- Priced the same as before
- No other changes
KTM recently updated the RC range in India with new colour schemes for 2020. As part of the update, the company has also replaced the Metzeler tyres on the RC 390 as well as the 390 Duke with MRF Revz C1 tyres- similar to the ones on 200cc range and the Duke 250.
However, despite the change, the cost of both motorcycles remain the same. While the KTM RC 390 is priced at Rs 2.53 lakh, the 390 Duke is priced at Rs 2.57 lakh (ex-showroom). It is unclear whether this change of tyres will be permanent or the bikes will be priced lesser.
Nevertheless, we expect it to be due to the current global situation and difficulties in sourcing the German-made Metzelers. Besides the new colours and tyres, the RC 390 remains the same as before and is powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 42.9bhp and 37Nm.
