- 2020 Royal Enfield Classic 350 spotted at dealerships
- Gets new colour scheme and updated cycle parts
- Existing BS4 engine likely to be updated to comply with BS6 norms
Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of the 2020 edition of the Classic 350, as motorcycles have started arriving at few dealerships.
The new Classic 350 spotted at the dealership apparently appears to be an updated version with revised mechanicals and colour schemes. Reportedly, the company is facing some delays in having the BS6 model ready prior to the upcoming 1 April deadline and has resorted to having the existing BS4 motor updated to comply with the new emission norms. Besides the updated motor, the motorcycle has received a couple of mechanical updates which include swapping of the final drive with the rear brake assembly and alloy wheels.
On the cosmetic front, the 2020 Classic 350 gets a new colour scheme with an updated badging on the fuel tank. The bikes were also equipped with textured type seats which are also offered as touring seats on Royal Enfield's online configurator.
If the said delay in introducing the proper BS6 version of the Classic 350 is to be true, expect a similar delay for other models like the Bullet, Thunderbird as well. In other news, the company has been facing a dip in overall sales for a while now, which it hopes to turn around with the 2020 models.
