Suzuki launched the BS6 Access 125 in India after unveiling it in December 2019. It gets a few updates that differentiate it from the BS4 model and justify its hike in pricing. We bring to you a list of what’s new on the 2020 Suzuki Access 125.
New features
Suzuki has retained the curvy and retro-looking styling of the previous model. However, the new Access 125 comes equipped with functional features rather than just mere cosmetic add-ons. It gets a full-LED headlamp, external fuel filler cap above the tail lamp, a battery voltage meter and Eco Assist function integrated in the instrument cluster.
BS6 engine
The new Suzuki Access 125 comes powered by a 124cc, air-cooled engine which comes with a fuel-injection system, as compared to the carbureted motor of the BS4 model. The BS6-compliant motor produces 8.5bhp of power and 10Nm of torque which is a slight change over previous model.
Five variants
Suzuki is offering the Access 125 in a choice of five variants. There is the drum with steel wheels at Rs 64,800, a drum with alloy wheels variant at Rs 66,800 and disc with alloy wheel version priced at Rs 67,800. It is also available in two special edition variants which cost Rs 68,500 and Rs 69,500 each. (all prices ex-showroom).
Eight colour options
The Access 125 standard variants are available in five colour schemes of Pearl Deep Blue, Metallic Matte Platinum Silver, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey shades. On the other hand, the special edition models are offered in Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Dark Greenish Blue, Metallic Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White paint options.
