- Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster now BS6-compliant
- No change in price
- Gets a new colour scheme
Triumph Motorcycles has launched the 2020 Bonneville Speedmaster in India at Rs 11.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The price is the same as the previous, BS4-compliant model.
As part of the model year update, the Speedmaster gets a new Cobalt Blue with Jet Black added to its colour palette. It is also available in a Jet Black option and a dual-tone Fusion White and Black with a handpainted golden pinstripe on the tank. This Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom rival has been built on the same platform as the Bobber and shares most of its cycle parts. However, the Speedmaster gets a different subframe, suspension setup, and pillion seat.
It draws power from a 1200cc parallel-twin motor that produces 76bhp at 6100rpm and 106Nm at 4000rpm that is now BS6-compliant. Brakes are sourced from Brembo for the front and it uses a single-disc from Nissin at the rear. The Triumph Speedmaster is also equipped with two riding modes- road and rain, switchable traction control, cruise control along with ABS.
We can expect the bookings for the 2020 Bonneville Speedmaster to begin soon and deliveries to take place by the end of this month across India.
