Triumph recently updated the Bonneville Speedmaster for 2020 equipping it with a BS6-compliant engine and new colour scheme. The retro-style cruiser is priced at Rs 11.33 lakh. However, if you want some more options in a similar price range there are three motorcycles on offer.
In Triumph’s showroom itself, there is the Street Triple RS also priced at Rs 11.33 lakh. The streetfighter comes loaded with electronics aids like a full-colour TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, five ride modes, and a GoPro feature. Powering the motorcycle is a 765cc, inline-three engine that the manufacturer has developed for the Moto2 race series. It produces 121bhp and 78.6Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a two-way quick shifter.
However, in a similar cruiser body style as the Bonneville Speedmaster is the Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom. It is priced at Rs 10.77 lakh and gets pulled-back handlebars, forward-set footpegs, and is laded with chrome nearly everywhere to complement its character. The 1200 Custome features chrome on the wheels, drivetrain, exhaust, headlamp, turn signal cowls, and suspension. It uses a 1202cc, V-twin that puts out 67.7bhp and 96Nm that comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki Versys 1000
And if you would prefer an adventure tourer, the Kawasaki Versys 1000 is available at Rs 10.99 lakh. It gets comfy seats, long-travel suspension, and tall windscreen to make long hauls easy. In terms of design, the Versys 1000 gets an aggressive-looking front end thanks to the split LED headlamps.
