Triumph has launched the Street Triple RS in India with a price tag of Rs 11.13 lakh (ex-showroom). Around that price, there are three other motorcycles you can buy. Here is what the list looks like-
Triumph Scrambler 1200: Rs 10.73 lakh
In Triumph’s showroom itself, you would find the Scrambler 1200 at Rs 10.73 lakh. It borrows styling inspiration from its younger sibling, the Street Scrambler. The motorcycle gets long-travel suspension and rides on alloy wheels shod with dual-sport tyres. Moreover, it also has a high-set dual exhaust and is equipped with top-spec braking and suspension sourced from Brembo and Ohlins respectively. The Scrambler 1200 XC is powered by a 1200cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 89bhp at 7400rpm and 110Nm of torque at 3950rpm.
Kawasaki Versys 1000: Rs 10.89 lakh
If you want a touring motorcycle in the same price range as the Triumph Street Triple RS, look no further than the Kawasaki Versys 1000 that priced at Rs 10.89 lakh. The Versys 1000 comes with well-cushioned seats, a tall windscreen, and electronic riding aids that consist of cruise control, power modes, cornering ABS, and traction control. Powering the motorcycle is a 1043cc, inline-four cylinder engine that produces 118bhp of power and 102Nm of torque.
Ducati Monster 821: Rs 10.99 lakh
However, if you want a streetfighter motorcycle like the Street Triple RS, Ducati is offering the Monster 821 at Rs 10.99 lakh. Sporting a low-slung, LED headlamp, beefy fuel tank, and a dual canister exhaust, the Ducati Monster 821 has the appearance of an aggressively-looking motorcycle. The electronics package remains as detailed as before – three riding modes, three-level ABS, and eight-step traction control. Powering the Ducati Monster 821 is an 821, L-Twin motor that produces 107bhp of power and 86Nm of torque.
