Piaggio India has taken the wraps off the 2020 Vespa SXL and VXL Facelift range in India.
The company has commenced the pre-bookings of the scooters for Rs 1,000 and is also offering benefits worth Rs 2,000 if booked online. Nevertheless, as part of the update, the scooters sport a full-LED headlamp with LED DRL. Piaggio has also added utilitarian features like a USB charging port and boot light as standard. Apart from these changes, the 2020 Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL remain identical to the outgoing model.
Powering the VXL 125 and SXL 125 is a 125cc, air-cooled engine that delivers 9.7bhp of power and 9.6Nm of torque. On the other hand, the VXL 149 and SXL 149's 150cc motor churns out 10.2bhp and 10.6Nm. The suspension and braking equipment remain the same as before. Piaggio is yet to reveal the pricing of the Vespa VXL and SXL range, although we can expect an increase of around Rs 5,000 over the current prices.
