- 2020 Yamaha R15 V3 deliveries commence
- Priced at Rs 1.45 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi)
- Gets additional features and BS6 compliant engine
Yamaha recently launched the 2020 YZF-R15 V3 in India priced at Rs 1.45 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi); a premium of Rs 3,000 over the previous model. And just a couple of weeks since its arrival, a few dealerships across the country have already commenced deliveries of the motorcycle.
As part of the 2020 update, the R15 V3 gets three new colour schemes, a radial tyre at the rear, dual horn and a side stand indicator with engine cut-off feature for additional safety. The Yamaha R15 V3’s 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, VVA-equipped engine is now BS6-compliant. The engine now churns out 18.3bhp of power and 14.1Nm of torque; down from 19bhp and 14.7Nm that the BS4 model produced.
Apart from this, the new R15 V3 remains the same. It rides on telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear while a dual-disc setup takes care of braking duties. The R15 V3 is the second BS6-compliant product in Yamaha’s portfolio. Nevertheless, the manufacturer is scheduled to launch the 2020 versions of the Fascino and RayZ in India tomorrow, 19 December.
