- To be available in four colours
- Started to arrive at dealerships
- Design and features to remain unaltered
Bajaj Auto will soon introduce the 2021 Pulsar 180 range that will feature an updated colour palette. The 2021 model will be sold in four colours – Matte Red, Matte Blue, Moon White, and Black. The styling changes also include a carbon-fibre texture on the front fender and the engine cowl, a revised font for the '180' badge on the rear panel, and a blacked-out look for the exhaust cannister. Moreover, the rim tapes match the colour of the graphics.
The changes will be limited to the styling upgrades in the form of new colours. The design and the feature list, on the other hand, will be similar to the 2020 model. Thus, the upcoming 2021 Pulsar 180 will pack a halogen headlight with twin DRLs, a tinted visor, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a muscular fuel tank, an engine cowl, split-style seats, and sporty pillion grabrails.
The mechanical specifications, too, will remain unaltered as the 2020 model already complied with the BS6 emission norms. Thus, the 2021 Pulsar 180 will use a 178.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 16.76bhp at 8,500rpm and 14.52Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The hardware will retain telescopic front forks, twin-sided rear springs, disc brakes on both wheels, and a dual-channel ABS.
While the company is yet to announce the launch, the updated range has started to arrive at the dealerships. The updated Pulsar 180 may carry a marginal price premium over the 2020 version.
