Benelli has just unveiled the 302R in April this year. The entry-level fully-faired motorcycle has already started arriving at dealerships in China where it is priced at CNY 29,800 which converts to Rs 3.43 lakh. While its India launch is expected in the next few months, here we bring to you a detailed image gallery of the same.
The new Benelli 302R is a very sharp and sporty-looking motorcycle thanks to its full fairing and edgy design. It also gets Benelli 302R graphics across its fairing, multi-colour combination, a bulky 14-litre fuel tank and air scoop at the front as well as under the tail section for added aerodynamics.
It comes with features like a projector headlamp, all LED lights, a fully digital instrument cluster and reflectors on its sides.
It's powered by a 300cc twin-cylinder water-cooled engine that churns out 34.9bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. All this power and torque is taken to its wheels via a six-speed gearbox. This engine and gearbox combination lends it a top speed of 150kmph, and it can hit a ton in just 6.8 seconds.
It is equipped with hardware such as dual-tip metal exhaust, split-seat setup with grab handle strap, metal footpegs and clip-on handlebars.
The ride of the motorcycle is taken care of by 41mm upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. The bike is also offered with a dual-disc at the front and a single disc at the rear.
The Benelli 302R is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. The front wheel is wrapped with a tyre having 110mm width. Meanwhile, the rear wheel is wrapped with a tyre having 150mm width.
Finally, moving to the dimensions of the bike the wheelbase is 1410mm. The bike is 2050mm long, 1130mm tall and 770mm wide. The seat height here is kept at 785mm, the ground clearance is 130mm and the weight of the bike has gone down by 22 kilograms when compared to its predecessor.
