Benelli India has extended its product portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant TRK 502. The middleweight adventure tourer has been launched with prices starting from Rs 4,79,999 onwards. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the Benelli TRK 502 BS6.
The BS6-compliant TRK 502 is available in three colour options – Metallic Dark Grey, Pure White, and Benelli Red. The Metallic Dark Grey paint has been priced at Rs 4,79,999 while the Pure White and Benelli Red colour options are available at a marginal price premium of Rs 10,000 over the Metallic Dark Grey paint. The two colour options are listed at Rs 4,89,900.
The updated, BS6-compliant, 500cc, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine produces 48.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 46NM of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The styling remains similar to the BS4 model and the latest iteration of the TRK 502 continues to use a twin-pod headlight setup, a tall windscreen, a large fuel tank, a semi-digital instrument cluster, alloy wheels, and split-style seats.
The 2021 model benefits from a revised instrument cluster layout, backlit switchgear, newly designed double-threaded seats, adjustable handlebar, and redesigned rear-view mirrors.
The crash protection setup on the Benelli TRK 502 includes engine and knuckle guards.
The suspension tasks are handled by upside-down telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking duties are performed by twin, 320mm discs at the front and a single 260mm rotor at the back while the safety net is provided by switchable ABS.
The company is yet to reveal the launch details of the off-road spec TRK 502X. The 502X will most likely carry a premium price tag over the road-biased version.
