The road-biased Benelli TRK 502 has returned with a BS6-compliant motor and we tested the motorcycle for a first ride review. The motorcycle retains the styling from the BS4 version while receiving mechanical upgrades to comply with the new, more stringent emission norms. Here we select some of the most appealing images of the Benelli TRK 502 BS6 from the first ride review.
The styling, as mentioned before, is similar to the BS4 model. Thus, the TRK 502 continues to pack a big and burly look. The front fascia comprises a twin-pod headlight with LED DRLs, a tall windscreen, and a black-coloured front beak.
The road-biased setup includes 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends instead of wire-spoke units on its off-road focussed TRK 502X version. The touring focussed ergonomics deliver comfortable ergonomics, especially for long-distance rides.
The TRK 502 packs a 20-litre fuel tank along with tank shrouds, well-padded seats, hand guards, tail rack, and an LED taillight.
The 2021 iteration of the adventure-sports tourer benefits from a revised instrument cluster layout and new backlit switchgear. Other updates include newly designed double-threaded seats, adjustable handlebar, and redesigned rear-view mirrors. The revised switchgear also includes two extra buttons for auxiliary lamps.
The BS6-compliant model continues to use a 500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a six-speed transmission, the motor makes 46bhp and 46Nm of peak torque. The motor feels extremely refined when riding in the city or touring on the highways.
The hardware on the motorcycle include upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, twin 320mm discs at the front, a single 260mm rotor at the back, and dual-channel ABS.
