Ducati India recently launched the 2021 Diavel 1260 in India with a price tag of Rs 18.49 lakh. It is also available in an S version that costs Rs 21.49 lakh and gets superior braking and suspension hardware. Nevertheless, both Diavels are now BS6/Euro 5 compliant. But if you are looking to buy a motorcycle in the same price range and want some options, there are three motorcycles to consider. Here is the list-
Triumph Rocket 3 R: Rs 19.35 lakh
The Triumph Rocket 3 R is the Ducati Diavel 1260’s prime rival and is priced at Rs 19.35 lakh. The motorcycle is also available in a touring-friendly GT version. Nonetheless, the Rocket 3 R comes with an imposing stance thanks to the chunky wheels and the large 2500cc, inline-three cylinder motorcycle lurking in between. This motor is capable of churning out 165bhp at 6,000rpm and a massive 221Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.
Harley-Davidson Fat Boy: Rs 20.90 lakh
The other alternative to the Ducati Diavel comes in the form of the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy that is priced at Rs 20.90 lakh. It features a swept-back handlebar, forward-set footpegs, a full-LED headlamp, loads of chrome that complete the American cruiser appeal. The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy is powered by a 1,746cc, V-twin engine that is linked to a six-speed gearbox and produces 145Nm of peak torque at 3,000rpm.
BMW R nineT: Rs 18.50 lakh
Besides the cruiser options mentioned above, you could also have a look at the BMW R nineT that costs Rs 18.50 lakh. The motorcycle takes styling inspiration from the German manufacturer’s motorsports heritage and is powered by the 1170cc, boxer twin engine. This motor is capable of churning out 107.2bhp and 116Nm of torque.
