Ducati India has announced the launch of the new Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO in the country. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The motorcycle features a stealthy look with its matte black colour and natural anodised aluminium parts. The feature list comprises of full-LED lighting, a flat handlebar, classic-style rearview mirrors, 10-spoke alloy wheels, tall-set exhaust setup and a rear tyre hugger mounted numberplate.
Mechanical specifications include a 1,079cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that makes 84.48bhp at 7,500rpm and 88Nm of peak torque at 4,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed transmission. The electronic rider aids include Ducati Traction Control (DTC), cornering ABS, and three Riding Modes (Active, Journey, and City) as standard.
The suspension setup includes upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock while the braking tasks are performed by twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the back. The bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across the country. Apart from the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO, Ducati has also announced the launch of the Scrambler Icon and the Scrambler Icon Dark in the Indian market.
