The Ducati Scrambler Icon is the Italian bike maker’s entry-level offering. The motorcycle received subtle updates a few weeks back but we got to ride it just recently. While you can read the first ride review of the 2021 Scrambler Icon here, let’s show you some of the most alluring images of the bike from the review.
As for the updates, the 2021 Scrambler sports a different headlamp, new switchgear, new alloy wheels design, and a more premium exhaust canister.
Other changes have been executed to enhance the comfort quotient with a revised suspension for plusher ride quality and a seat with a different design and added cushioning.
Even the instrument cluster has been tweaked to show more information like fuel level and gear position while the clutch and brake levers are also adjustable now.
The Scrambler Icon remains untouched in most other aspects. It is powered by an 803cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that churns out 71.87bhp of power and 66.2Nm of peak torque.
The motorcycle rides on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination that is suspended by 41mm Kayaba upside-down forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.
With a kerb weight of 189kg and a seat height of 798mm, the Scrambler is easy to hop on and potter around in town. The fuel tank capacity of the bike stands at 13.5-litres.
Ducati has priced the 2021 Scrambler Icon at Rs 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is available in three colour options including matte black, yellow and orange.
