Ducati has updated its India portfolio with the launch of the new Scrambler Icon and the Scrambler Icon Dark. The Scrambler Icon has been launched at Rs 8.49 lakh while the Dark edition is available at a relatively affordable Rs 7.99 lakh price tag (both ex-showroom, India).
Both motorcycles feature similar underpinnings and engine, while they are distinguished by their respective colour options. The Scrambler Icon Dark, which is available in Matte Black colour, features a stealthy look. It also gets machine-finished aluminium belt covers and interchangeable aluminium side panels.
The hardware on both motorcycles include full-LED lighting, flatter seat, 10-spoke alloy wheels, upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, single discs on both wheels, and Bosch cornering ABS. Mechanical specifications on the Scrambler Icon and the Scrambler Icon Dark include a BS6/Euro5-compliant 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin engine that is linked to a six-speed transmission.
The bookings for the motorcycles have commenced at Ducati dealerships across the country.
