- Ducati SuperSport 950 updated for 2021
- Gets new styling and updated tech
- Likely to be launched in India by mid-2021
Ducati has unveiled the 2021 SuperSport 950 during the third episode of its World Premiere.
And the most obvious change is its styling which now features ducts, scoops for better airflow and an aggressive fascia with redesigned LED lighting that makes it look Panigale-like. The lower fairing has also been stretched towards the dual-exhaust for a clean and concealed look.
Besides the exterior Ducati has also equipped the new SuperSport 950 with a six-axis IMU that monitors the bike’s lean, pitch, and yaw which further controls the new cornering ABS, traction control and wheelie control. The Ducati SuperSport 950 also comes with three ride modes- Sport, Touring and Urban. It also gets a 4.3-inch TFT display as part of the 2021 update.
As for the engine, the 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950’s 937cc, Testatstretta L-twin is now Euro 5-compliant. But it still continues with the same 110bhp power output and is also available in an A2 license variant. Now the updated SuperSport 950 is also available in an S version that is offered in a white and red paint job and is fitted with Ohlins suspension as standard.
We can expect Ducati to introduce the 2021 SuperSport in India sometime in the second quarter of next year.
