Ducati has revealed the 2021 XDiavel cruiser in the Ducati World Première web series, and the updated power cruiser should arrive in the Indian market next year. Apart from the S variant, Ducati will also offer the XDiavel in two new variants – the XDiavel Dark and the XDiavel Black Star. Here we bring you an image gallery of the 2021 Ducati XDiavel.
The 2021 Ducati XDiavel S retains the overall silhouette of the power cruiser and it continues to feature a muscular design along with relaxed ergonomics and premium hardware.
The new XDiavel Dark variant, too, features the same design as the S model, although it comes with a matte black colour. The Dark version of the power cruiser also gets a total black livery to the mechanical components, plates, and finishes.
The new XDiavel Black Star gets sportier livery and equipment that are inspired by the world of sports cars. The livery on the Black Star version alternates matte grey and black with touches of red.
Apart from the sportier livery, the Black Star version also gets red engine head covers and suede fabric for the saddle.
The 2021 Ducati XDiavel range uses a 1,262cc, twin-cylinder engine with Ducati Testastretta DVT system that complies with the new European emissions standard.
The peak power and torque output from the updated engine are rated at 157.8bhp at 9,500rpm and 127.4Nm at 5,000 rpm, respectively. The Euro5-compliant motor makes 7.8bhp and 1.6Nm more than the old model.
Ducati has added an updated silencer layout and a new engine calibration to the complete 2021 XDiavel range.
The safety net on the XDiavel range, which works with Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), includes Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Riding Modes, Bosch Cornering ABS, Cruise Control, and Ducati Power Launch (DPL).
Ducati will offer three dedicated personalisation packages for the complete XDiavel series – Sport, Touring, and Urban.
