- BS6-compliant XDiavel India launch tomorrow
- Powered by a 1262cc, L-twin engine
- Offers cruiser-style ergonomics
Ducati is scheduled to launch the Euro5/BS6-compliant XDiavel in India tomorrow, 12 August. While the previous version of the XDiavel was priced at Rs 17.50 lakh, the new model is expected to demand a premium over that price tag.
Now, the Euro5/BS6-compliant XDiavel is already available in global markets and sports laid-back ergonomics and cruiser-like styling with a large fuel tank, sweptback handlebar and forward-set control. It comes powered by a 1262cc, L-Twin Testastretta DVT engine like the Diavel 1260. This motor churns out 157.8bhp and 127.4Nm. In terms of features, the XDiavel gets a Bosch IMU that paves the way to traction control, multiple riding modes, cornering ABS, cruise control, and launch control.
In terms of design, the motorcycle features a muscular styling. The feature list comprises a sleek LED headlight with LED DRL at the front, a digital instrument cluster, a long fuel tank, a step-up saddle, an engine cowl, a single-sided swingarm, and a rear fender-mounted numberplate. The cruiser-style ergonomics are achieved through a rear-swept handlebar and forward-set footpegs.
