Honda 2Wheelers India has announced the launch of the 2021 Africa Twin Adventure Sport in the country. The latest iteration of the Japanese adventure tourer has been launched in the Indian market with ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 15.96 lakh onwards. The bookings for the 2021 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport have commenced at the company’s premium BigWing Topline dealerships.
The changes to the 2021-year model are limited to new colour options in both Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and Manual transmission variants. The manual transmission version will be sold in Darkness Black Metallic paint while the DCT variant will be sold in Pearl Glare White Tricolour colour option.
While the colour palette has been updated, the mechanical specifications and feature list remain unaltered. Thus, the motorcycle continues to pack dual LED headlights, cornering lights, cruise control, five-step adjustable windscreen, adjustable seat, heated grips, and tubeless tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels. The Africa Twin Adventure Sport also retains the 6.5-inch TFT touch screen display with the Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.
The safety net on the motorcycle includes wheelie control, cornering ABS, rear lift control, and cornering detection in the DCT variant. Mechanical specifications comprise of a 1,084cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes 98bhp and 103Nm of peak torque.
