Honda 2Wheelers India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Gold Wing Tour. The luxury tourer is available in two variants (manual and DCT gearbox) in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 37,20,342 onwards. The motorcycle features a twin-pod headlight, a semi-fairing design, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors with integrated turn indicators, a 21.1-litre fuel tank, a step-up seat with a new suede/synthetic leather cover, and a pillion backrest.
Luggage solutions include hard panniers and a top box. The 11-litre top box brings the total storage capacity to 121-litre.
The manual transmission variant is available in Pearl Glare White colour (Rs 37,20,342) while the DCT model features a Gunmetal Black Metallic with Matte Morion Black paint (Rs 39,16,055).
The features list includes full-LED lighting, an electronically-adjustable screen, a seven-inch TFT-screen, an upgraded audio and speaker system, two USB Type-C ports, gyrocompass navigation, passenger audio control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, tyre pressure monitoring, and Smart Key operation.
The electronic rider aids comprise four riding modes (Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain), cruise control, Hill Start Assist, ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Dual Combined Brake System, and Idling Stop (only in DCT variant).
Mechanical specifications include a BS6-compliant 1,833cc, flat-six, liquid-cooled engine that produces 124.7bhp at 5,500rpm and 170Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. The gearbox options include a six-speed manual or a seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission.
The suspension tasks are handled by double wishbone at the front and a pro link system at the back. The braking setup includes twin 320mm discs with six-piston callipers at the front and a single 316mm rotor with a three-piston calliper at the rear.
