Honda 2Wheelers India has updated its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Gold Wing Tour. The latest iteration of the luxury cruiser will be available in India from Rs 37,20,342 onwards. The manual transmission variant, which will be available in Pearl Glare White paint, is priced at Rs 37,20,342. The DCT model will be sold in Gunmetal Black Metallic with Matte Morion Black and it has been listed at Rs 39,16,055. The bookings for the motorcycle are open at the company’s premium motorcycle outlets, Honda BigWing Topline across the country.
The 2021 model packs several mechanical upgrades to comply with the newest emission norms. The BS6-compliant 1,833cc, flat-six, liquid-cooled engine on the 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour is tuned to deliver 124.7bhp of power at 5,500rpm and 170Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. The motorcycle is available with a choice of two gearbox options – six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT.
The feature list on the 2021 model includes an upgraded audio and speaker system, a seven-inch TFT-screen, gyrocompass navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Smart Key operation, four riding modes (Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain), and Hill Start Assist. The electronic rider aids include ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Dual Combined Brake System, and Idling Stop (only in DCT variant).
The 2021 model also benefits from features such as full-LED lighting, a fairing design with an electronically-adjustable screen, rear-view mirror integrated turn indicators, a 21.1-litre fuel tank, and luggage pannier. The hardware on the motorcycle comprises a double-wishbone at the front and a pro link system at the back to perform the suspension tasks. The anchoring power comes from twin 320mm discs with six-piston callipers at the front and a single 316mm rotor with a three-piston calliper at the rear.
