Indian Motorcycles will soon bring its entire Chief line up to our markets. The company confirmed in an official statement that the 2021 Indian Chief range will arrive in India in the second quarter (April-June) of 2021. All the models (Chief, Chief Bobber, and Super Chief) will use steel-tube frame and will be powered by Indian Motorcycle’s Thunderstroke motor.
The new lineup packs features such as a four-gallon (15-litre) fuel tank, bobbed rear fender, dual outboard preload-adjustable rear shocks, dual exhaust, LED lighting, keyless ignition, and Pirelli Night Dragon tires. The suspension setup includes 46mm telescopic forks at the front with 132mm travel. The motorcycles will tip the weighing scale above 300kg.
The electronic rider aids include three ride modes – sport, standard and tour – and cruise control system. The company will offer over 80 accessories with the new Chief range. The optional extras include parts specifically designed for Chief models, along with several existing pieces available for Scout and Thunderstroke models.
