Indian Motorcycle is all set to launch the 2021 line-up of its motorcycles in India soon. The American bike maker has also added the new Scout Bobber Twenty, Roadmaster Limited and the Chief Vintage Dark Horse to its India portfolio.
Indian has multiple leisure bikes spread across five different segments. Firstly, the Scout family consists of the Indian Scout, Scout Bobber and the Scout Bobber Twenty. Then there are two cruisers in the form of the Chief Vintage standard and Dark Horse along with a series of four baggers – Springfield, Springfield Dark Horse, Chieftain Limited and Chieftain Dark Horse. Furthermore, the bike maker also has touring bikes such as the Roadmaster. In the flat tracker genre, the American brand offers the FTR 1200 S.
For 2021, the brand has bestowed its Scout line-up with new paint schemes. On the feature front, the Roadmaster series has been updated with Apple CarPlay which comes as standard tech across the line-up. What’s more, the Roadmaster Dark Horse and Limited are further advanced with the all-new Clima Command Rogue heated and cooled seat with Ride Command Integration. Indian bikes are powered by an engine with three different displacements, depending on the model, which will be BS6-compliant now.
The products by Indian Motorcycle mainly compete against Harley-Davidson models. The latter had announced the closure of its plant and business in India a few weeks back. However, it has recently joined hands with Hero MotoCorp for sales, service and development of new models in the country.
