Kawasaki has listed the prices for the 2021 Ninja H2R for the Indian market. The track-only model has been priced at Rs 79.90 lakh as against Rs 75.80 lakh previously. The new model retains the styling of its predecessor, and the 2021 Ninja H2R continues to use aerodynamic winglets, rider-only saddle, and a single-sided swingarm. The Mirror Coated Matte Spark Black colour, too, is similar to the discontinued model.
Mechanical Specification retain the 998cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with a supercharger that makes 305.7bhp (321.8bhp with RAM Air) at 14,000rpm and 165Nm of peak torque at 12,500rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The six-speed gearbox benefits from a slipper and an assist clutch mechanism and a bidirectional quickshifter. The engine requires a minimum octane rating of RON95.
The hardware on the motorcycle comprises 43mm upside-down front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 gas-charged rear mono-shock to perform the shock absorption tasks. The braking setup includes dual 330mm discs with four-piston Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers at the front and a single 250mm rotor with a two-piston Brembo calliper at the back. An Ohlins electronic steering damper is also part of the package. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 216kg (kerb).
The electronics package works with a Bosch-sourced Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and it includes Kawasaki Cornering Management Function. The IMU setup also brings bank angle display and maximum bank angle recording function to the instrument cluster.
