- 2021 Kawasaki Versys 1000 now available
- Priced at Rs 11,19,000
- No mechanical or cosmetic changes
Kawasaki has launched the 2021 Versys 1000 in India with a price tag of Rs 11.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new model demands a premium of Rs 20,000 over the 2020 version that was priced at 10.99 lakh. However, despite the model-year update and hike in price, the Kawasaki Versys 1000 remains the same mechanically and cosmetically. It continues to come powered by a 1,043cc, inline-four engine that pumps out 118.2bhp of power and 102Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Kawasaki has also equipped the Versys 1000 with features like a five-axis Bosch IMU system, cruise control, two power modes, cornering ABS, traction control as well as three riding modes. Moreover, the tall windscreen gets automatic adjustability. The bold fascia of the Kawasaki Versys 1000 is adorned with a full-LED headlamp and complemented by muscular tank shrouds and a large, 21-litre fuel tank. The motorcycle also offers well-cushioned seats for the rider and pillion and a luggage rack at the rear.
The 2021 Kawasaki Versys is already available in showrooms across India. It can be had only in one, dual-tone colour option- Candy Lime Green with Metallic Spark Black.
