Kawasaki has announced its 2021 line-up, and among the list is the latest iteration of the company’s litre-class tourer, the Versys 1000 SE LT+. The key highlight of the motorcycle is the new KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension) that incorporates Showa’s Skyhook EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) technology.
The company announced in a press statement that Showa’s Skyhook software was fine-tuned by Kawasaki engineers to ensure that the sporty riding character of the Versys 1000 SE LT+ was preserved while delivering a smoother ride. The electronic suspension setup continually adapts to the road surface in real-time and reduces pitching while braking.
The 2021 Versys 1000 SE LT+ continues to use a 1,043cc, inline four-cylinder engine. Electronic rider aids include integrated riding modes, Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), all-LED lighting including cornering lights, Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour LCD screen, Electronic Cruise Control and heated grips.
The 2021 Versys 1000 SE LT+ will be offered in three colour options – Pearl Storm Gray, Metallic Diablo Black and Metallic Flat Spark Black. The motorcycle has been priced at USD 18,199 in the US market.
