Kawasaki has revealed the 2021 Z1000 naked roadster for the Indonesian market. The 2021 model has been priced at RP 349,000,000 (INR 17.87 lakh) in the country. The motorcycle is available in a single colour option – Black. The black base paint is complemented by red highlights that are visible on the tank shrouds, rear panel and the wheels.
The feature list, however, isn’t very different from the old model, and the 2021 Kawasaki Z1000 continues to feature LED lighting, twin-pod headlight and a muscular design. The suspension duties are handled by 41mm inverted forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back. The setup at the front is adjustable for compression, rebound damping and spring preload. The rear can be adjusted for rebound damping and preload. Anchoring power comes from dual, petal discs at the front and a single rotor at the back.
Mechanical specifications continue to include a 1,043cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 16-valve, DOHC engine that produces 140bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 111Nm of torque at 7,300rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The Z1000 is yet to receive the BS6 upgrade in the Indian market. The future of the updated, BS6-compliant model is yet to be announced.
