KTM’s entry-level offering, the 125 Duke, has received a major make over with the launch of its 2021 iteration. The motorcycle has been updated in terms of styling and hardware and we take a close look at these changes through this image gallery.
The motorcycle now features KTM’s new-age styling which was first featured on the 1290 Super Duke and later trickled down to its smaller offerings.
The design incorporates a much sharper headlamp cluster and fuel tank extensions along with a svelte tail section.
The new styling has also resulted in the introduction of a larger 13.5 litre fuel tank which means it delivers a longer riding range now.
KTM has also rolled out two spanking new colour options for the bike including Electronic Orange and Ceramic White. Both feature an orange chassis and blacked-out alloy wheels.
The 2021 model of the baby Duke is now underpinned by a new split-type trellis chassis as opposed to the previous single-piece frame. This not only aids in better handling but also accommodates larger seats.
What has remained unchanged in the 125cc, liquid-cooled engine which produces 14.3bhp and 12Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels which are suspended by WP upside down forks up front and a WP monoshock at the rear. Stopping power comes from a disc at both ends with a single ABS.
