- KTM 250 Adventure launched in Malaysia

After launching the 250 Adventure in India recently, KTM has introduced the motorcycle in Malayasia priced at an equivalent of Rs 3.90 lakh.
The Malaysian-spec model is not different than the model sold in India. It comes powered by a 248cc, single-cylinder engine borrowed from the 250 Duke. This motor produces 29.5bhp of power and 24Nm of torque and is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. As for features, the KTM 250 Adventure comes with a dual-channel ABS that can be switched off to the rear wheel, LED DRL an LED tail lamp as well as LED turn indicators. Moreover, it also comes with a black on white instrument cluster that displays all vital information.
As for styling, it looks similar to the KTM 390 Adventure and gets a large fuel-tank, a larger seat for the rider and pillion and offers a comfortable, touring-friendly riding position. A pair of WP APEX forks take care of suspension duties at the front while a monoshock does duties at the rear. It rides on a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel shod with dual-purpose tyres. As for braking, KTM has equipped the 250 Adventure employs a 320mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear.
