- Next-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 new spy video surfaces
- Reveals a more premium variant with new red-coloured seat
- India launch expected to take place soon
Royal Enfield’s most popular offering in India, the Classic 350, is all set to be launched in a new 2021 avatar. The new version has been spotted undergoing test runs on multiple occasions. However, a new video has surfaced on the internet showing the bike parked in what looks like the factory stockyard.
Thanks to the numerous spy shots that surfaced until now, we already know a lot about the new Classic 350. But this video reveals a red-coloured split seat setup, something we haven’t seen yet. This could be one of the premium colour variants of the bike that will demand a small premium over the base trim. Royal Enfield already sells most of its bikes in different paint schemes with varying prices.
Other updates shown in the video, that we are already aware of, include a slightly revised styling, added features, and majorly overhauled hardware. The Classic 350 finally gets a semi-digital console with RE’s new Tripper navigation system. There are new rotary switches too that enhance its retro appeal. As for the hardware, it is based on the new J platform with a dual-cradle frame and the same 349cc engine that is employed in the Meteor 350.
Expect the next-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 to be launched in the next couple of weeks. It will be priced slightly higher than the existing model that starts at Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom). If you want to read all that we know about the bike so far in detail, head here.
