- Seen in green colour with camouflage graphics
- Will get Tripper navigation system
- Launch likely soon
The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan has started to arrive at the dealer yards, thus hinting at an upcoming launch. Do note that Royal Enfield is yet to make a launch announcement. The 2021 iteration of the adventure tourer will feature an updated colour palette and revised instrument cluster that will benefit from the Tripper navigation system that was first seen on the new Meteor 350. The system works with Bluetooth to deliver turn-by-turn directions.
The spy photograph reveals the new green paint option with camouflage graphics. A report from late last month suggested that select colour options will receive a brown saddle. The changes are limited to the updated paint options and the new Tripper navigation system. The motorcycle already complies with the BS6 emission norms, and thus the mechanical specifications will remain unaltered. The 411cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine is tuned to produce 24.3bhp of power and 32Nm of peak torque.
The hardware specifications, too, will continue to feature telescopic front forks, a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, 21-inch front/17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, and disc brakes on both ends. The safety net will comprise of dual-channel ABS.
