- Updated Royal Enfield Himalayan spotted
- Likely to get new features
- Could be launched by mid-2021
Royal Enfield has been spotted testing the 2021 Himalayan in India. While the spy images only reveal the rear of the motorcycle, we can expect Royal Enfield to keep the design of the Himalayan untouched. After all, why fix what is not broken.
However, as part of the update, the Himalayan could sport new features to add value to the package. First up, it is likely to come with the ‘Tripper’ navigation system like the Meteor as well as an updated instrument cluster. Secondly, the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan could also get a LED DRL ring.
Apart from this, the adventure-touring motorcycle is expected to remain the same and come powered by the 411cc, single-cylinder engine that does duty on the current model. While we would love to see an upgrade to the suspension, there is no confirmation about the same. Nevertheless, we can expect to see the updated Royal Enfield Himalayan in showrooms sometime by mid-2021 demanding a slight premium over the current model’s price tag.
