- Limited to just 100 units for the UK
- Gets special livery
- No change to performance
Suzuki has taken the wraps off the limited-edition GSX-R1000 Phantom Edition for the United Kingdom. While it comes powered by the same 999cc, inline-four engine that churns out 199bhp and 117Nm and has the same components, the Phantom Edition sports cosmetic differences.
To begin with, it features the Metallic Matt Black No.2 paint scheme with gloss black ‘Suzuki’ logo on the fairing. Moreover, there also are the gold-finished wheels and gold Showa Balance Free fork to complete the look. But it doesn’t stop there, the GSX-R1000 Phantom Edition also comes with lever guards, a tank pad, a smoked double-bubble screen, and a Yoshimura R11 exhaust as standard. Suzuki has also paid attention to detail with the blacked-out heatshield and black cap stick too.
To fully justify the limited-edition tag, the GSX-R1000 Phantom will be limited to 100 units. And since the brand will only offer the Phantom to the UK, it will not make its way to India.
